Vision
Global Student Leadership envisions a worldwide network of young, empowered women and men serving as local leaders and agents of change, who have the self-confidence, entrepreneurial and enterprise management skills necessary to help transform their communities

Our Mission

GSL International is building, training and nurturing economically vibrant, entrepreneurial leaders. GSL‘s delivery of entrepreneurial training and leadership development programs are transforming local communities around the world. Our training efforts provide community leaders with transferable skills and education; community-based reinvestment strategies; a collaborative partnership and alliance building orientation; and a commitment to visionary and inclusive leadership. GSL International does this by first conducting a pragmatic multi-week training program for aspiring leaders and entrepreneurs and, then, after rigorous evaluation, by providing resource support for the most promising business plans.

Peter Drucker proposes that “every few hundred years in Western history there occurs a sharp transformation.  Within a few short decades, society – its worldviews, its basic values, its social and political structures, its art, its key institutions- rearranges itself. We are currently living through such a time.”[1] GSL International provides the program, process and pedagogue for social entrepreneurs and change agents to successfully navigate our evolving landscapes. The GSL Leadership for Local Change curriculum is built on four pillars: leadership, entrepreneurship, advocacy/communication and information technology and is a well-tested program, successfully training inspired pragmatists.
